We are currently partnering with a leading professional services firm renowned for its robust tax advisory practice. As part of their strategic growth, they are seeking to appoint an experiencedBusiness Development professionalto drive the expansion of theirVAT service offeringswithin the Tax Department.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong understanding of VAT-related services and a proven track record in business development, client engagement, and market positioning within the tax or professional services space.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing, and executing strategic growth plans, and building long-term relationships with clients in need of VAT advisory and compliance support. This role requires close collaboration with tax technical teams to effectively position tailored VAT solutions in line with client needs and market demands.

Key responsibilities include market mapping, lead generation, proposal development, and representing the firm at networking events and industry forums. A strong commercial mindset and deep knowledge of VAT regulations are essential to successfully contribute to the firm's continued growth and market leadership.

Candidate Requirements

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within a tax, accounting, or professional services environment.

In-depth knowledge of VAT services, including compliance, advisory, and regulatory frameworks.

Proven ability to generate leads, close opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with both internal teams and external clients.

Strategic thinking and the ability to translate technical offerings into client-focused solutions.

A degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
