Manager - Finance & Accounts (Aviation Industry)
Role Overview
The Manager - Finance & Accounts will manage financial operations within an aviation environment, ensuring stringent cost controls, regulatory compliance, and accurate financial reporting across airline, MRO, or aviation services functions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting functions
- Oversee operational cost accounting including fuel costs, maintenance reserves, spares, and leasing expenses
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, aviation authority requirements, and corporate governance standards
- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards
- Monitor working capital, cash flow projections, and treasury activities
- Handle vendor contracts, lease accounting (IFRS 16), and commercial agreements
- Coordinate internal audits, external audits, and regulatory financial reporting
- Provide strategic financial insights to support cost optimization, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA / CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred)
- 8-12 years of experience in aviation, airline, MRO, or transportation finance
- Strong exposure to operational costing, lease accounting, and compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and decisionsupport skills
