Job Overview
The Portfolio Analyst will support the investment team in monitoring portfolio performance, preparing financial and operational analysis, and producing periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves maintaining accurate portfolio data, assisting with valuations, and supporting investment decisionmaking through research and analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor portfolio company performance and update key metrics, dashboards, and financial models
- Conduct financial, operational, and variance analysis across portfolio assets
- Assist in quarterly and annual valuation processes
- Prepare investment committee materials, performance reports, and presentations
- Support due diligence for new investments, including market and financial research
- Track portfolio KPIs, compliance requirements, and covenants
- Coordinate with finance, legal, and investment teams to ensure data accuracy
- Maintain portfolio databases and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- 1-4 years of experience in portfolio analysis, financial analysis, private equity, or asset management
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- UAE experience preferred
