Lead the regional sales function, manage high-value techno-commercial negotiations, and develop strategies to expand market share across African markets. Collaborate closely with production, government bodies, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and business compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the regional sales team to meet growth and revenue targets.
  • Conducting daily/weekly meetings with the production teams and be on top of all updates to manage the team well.
  • Strategic thinking with analytical problem-solving at the production, sales levels.
  • Excellent liaising skills with the local government bodies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand customer base across African markets.
  • Handle end-to-end techno-commercial discussions and contract closures.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities through various sales and marketing channels.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding and addressing their needs.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
  • Work closely with internal teams (operations, logistics, finance) for smooth deal execution.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree in relevant field would be an added advantage).
  • 8-10 years of proven sales experience in Africa (preferably in steel/recycling/manufacturing/Trading).
  • Should fall between 40-50 years of age bracket.
  • Strong techno-commercial background with ability to understand product and contract terms.
  • Industry knowledge in steel profiles or steel structures is preferred.
  • ERP/softwar;e proficiency is required.
  • Fluent in Hindi, French and English is a must (written and spoken).
  • Excellent negotiation, team management, interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Expert in the law of the land.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership capabilities.
