A well-established, multi-brand retail and distribution group is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and commercial analysis across key business units. The role will support strategic decision-making, drive profitability, and ensure financial governance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing, financial reporting, and statutory audits
• Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
• Conduct financial analysis to monitor performance against budget and KPIs
• Support operational and commercial teams with insights to drive efficiency and profitability
• Oversee inventory analysis, cost optimization, and pricing strategies
• Assist in evaluating new business proposals and investment opportunities
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
• Mentor and manage a small finance team, ensuring clarity on KPIs and performance goals

Candidate Profile

• 6-8 years' experience in finance, including 3+ years in a Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager role
• Strong background in the retail or consumer goods industry is essential
• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; working knowledge of Power BI and Power Query preferred
• Experience with SAP ECC or similar ERP systems
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
