About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and experienced FP&A Director to lead our financial planning, forecasting, and analysis functions. The successful candidate will drive insightful financial decision-making, providing senior leadership with accurate and timely financial insights that support business growth and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and business partnering skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end financial planning and analysis process including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
- Provide detailed financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with business units to develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs.
- Drive the preparation of management reports, board presentations, and financial dashboards.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through variance analysis and scenario planning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with operational goals.
- Oversee the development and implementation of FP&A best practices, tools, and processes.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
- Support ad hoc financial projects including M&A analysis, capital expenditure evaluation, and business case development.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional finance qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis roles, including leadership experience.
- Strong proficiency with financial modeling, budgeting tools, and ERP/BI systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving financial performance improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in the GCC region or similar markets is an advantage.
